Regular updates were suspended in 2011 but The TV Room will be making a comeback. A new version of the site will launch in the spring of 2018. We'll continue to cover television branding, graphic design and marketing. The content will be presented in a new way and, after an absence of many years, we're delighted to be in a position to offer video coverage again. The announcer and presenter profile pages will survive the revamp and will be available on a dedicated sub-site - Showreel. And, unlike the page that you're currently viewing, our new site will be responsive and mobile-friendly.
When the new site launches, it will concentrate initially on the latest broadcast design and marketing projects. On a phased basis over the next few years, we will migrate all of the channel branding material (for the major UK and Irish channels) from this archived version of The TV Room across to the new site. This content will be restructured and rewritten and will have the added benefit of video. Until the migration of material to the new site has been completed, this archived version of The TV Room will remain available.
