UKTV G2 was run by BBC Worldwide and Virgin Media.
The channel was launched as UK G2 in November 2003; it was renamed UKTV G2 on Monday March 08 2004, as part of a rebranding exercise across the entire UKTV network of channels.
Satirical and edgy, UKTV G2 was an irreverent channel that showcased the best in contemporary entertainment and was home to some of the sharpest wits on TV, from Jonathan Ross and Jack Dee to Ruby Wax and Paul Merton.
