UKTV is a partnership between BBC Worldwide and Virgin Media.

UKTV Documentary is a channel exploring the big issues that concern us today, providing perspective on a range of topics from science, natural history, exploration, adventure, medical issues and space. UKTV Documentary delivers serious-minded, authoritative programming with themed evenings, including 'Adventure Mondays' and 'Diagnosis Tuesdays'.

The channel launched on Monday March 08 2004, replacing UK Horizons.
