Sky One is one of the UK's most popular non-terrestrial entertainment channels. As well as a selection of home produced programmes, Sky One also offers a number of hit series from the States. Indeed, many Sky One imports - such as 'The Simpsons', 'The X-Files' and 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' - have become cultural icons.
Popular home grown series on Sky One include: 'Gun Law'; 'The Stretch'; 'Do Or Die'; entertainment strands such as 'Uncovered'; dramas such as 'Dream Team'; and comedy such as 'The People's Harry Enfield'. As well as Harry, there are a number of other top names on the Sky Productions roster: David Baddiel; Al Murray; Dervla Kirwan; Anita Dobson; Leslie Grantham.
On Tuesday September 21 2004, Sky One got a new look. This page contains some examples of the channel idents.
