Above: RTÉ Network 2 promotional trail [9]. In February 2001 a new style of promotion sting came into use [left]. However, the original stings - based on the channel idents - remained in use. One other notable difference on promotional trails from February 2001 was the addition of a grey 'N2' DOG for much of the promotion. Previously, the N2 logo only appeared on the end board.
