In 2006, Five supported five homeless charities through its Christmas ident, which launched on Monday December 11 2006. The charities featured were Shelter, Crisis, Centrepoint, Nightstop UK and Emmaus UK. The idents urged viewers to 'Give', with each charity being promoted 73 times over the Christmas and New Year period in a total of 365 slots.

The idents were conceived and directed by Dominic Sykes, Five's on-air brand director. Post-production was provided by Blue.
