Monday September 11 2000 and another makeover for Channel 5 presentation; a whole new batch of idents was unveiled. The personality theme was retained. We also had some graphics-only idents, used mainly to link into news.
A new concept, where an ident was accompanied by a programme menu, was introduced around April 2001.
The personality idents were withdrawn in summer 2001. The channel made do with the graphics-only idents of which there were gold, green, pink and blue versions.
New graphics-only versions were added c. August 2001. The general look was the same, the only difference being more colourful backgrounds on the new batch.
