This page contains examples of promotional trails.
On Saturday October 13 2007, BBC One introduced four new promotional trail stings, for use on Saturday evenings, based on the 'Neon' ident, also launched that evening. This was the first time in many years (bar Christmas) that BBC One made use of stings. Stings were produced during the 'rhythm and dance' era; they were never used by Network, though; BBC NI did use them occasionally, however.
The 'Neon'-based stings were withdrawn from use c. late-2007 and re-introduced in September 2008.

Above: BBC One promotional trail [1]. 'The One To Watch' trail style had been in use on a daily basis until June 2008. These trails would promote a key programme featuring in BBC One's primetime schedule. It now puts in only occasional appearances.
