Above: BBC One ident - Ring-A-Roses. First shown at 11.30am on Saturday October 07 2006. Filmed in the wild flower meadow of an historic garden at Coton Manor, Coton, Northants.
Above: BBC One ident - Surfers. First broadcast at 10.35pm on Monday October 09 2006. Filmed at Puerto Escondido on Mexico's West Coast, famous for its regular big surf. The first time 35mm cameras mounted on remote Libra heads on jetskis have been used to shoot at the foot of such big waves. Starring Carlos 'Coco' Nogales, Mexico's leading big wave 'tow-in' surfer.
Above: BBC One ident - Windows. First broadcast at 12.15pm on Monday October 09 2006 [TBC]. Filmed at the Greenwich Millennium Village, a new housing development built with an ecology park next to the Thames path. In late-summer 2008, the decision was taken to 'rest' this ident. Whether or not the symbol will return at some point in the future is unclear.
