Regional BBC One idents.
The national regions - Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales - made use of locally-branded versions of the Network idents. Local continuity was carried in all junctions between 6am and c. 2am.
BBC Northern Ireland's on-screen regional identification was reduced from 'Northern Ireland' to simply 'NI'.
In the English regions, local continuity was limited to junctions leading into regional news programmes. Occasionally, the English regional centres opted out of the Network schedule to show local programmes; such occasions were few and far between.
